I am a counsellor, psychotherapist, and art therapist, once upon a time a registered nurse — and above all, someone who sees and seeks beauty in the process of human healing.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked for 15 years as a registered nurse in acute hospital settings. Supporting people through physical challenges taught me that wellness is far more than the absence of illness; our emotional, mental, and spiritual lives shape our overall wellbeing. Hope, in particular, has the power to transform even the most difficult circumstances. That belief ultimately inspired me to shift into therapeutic work.I have supported clients within psychiatric hospitals in both Melbourne and Brisbane, working extensively with individuals experiencing trauma, complex mental health concerns, and significant life challenges. Through Emotional Origins on the Sunshine Coast, I now provide meaningful, community-based support for people on their recovery journey.

Having lived and travelled across numerous countries, I am enriched by diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences. I continue to maintain my own art-making practice, valuing creativity as a pathway to growth, reflection, and transformation.
