Chris Larsson Deciding to undertake Art Therapy (Art Psychotherapy) with Tracey, has been one of my better life decisions. Her intuitive methods of working with you, gently invite you to places where you can safely, objectively, uncover & observe your own motives & aims, actions & reactions - some of which have become so entrenched in your psyche that you no longer are aware of their existence. Tracey’s personable, relaxed approach helps you put your “fight or flight” response to one side & very matter-of-factly, take on challenges that once would’ve been too overwhelming or just unthinkable to have been even considered as being possible! Her humour & sense of fun, which again, come from a “safe place” for you, help YOU dismantle once, “set in stone” beliefs, & encourage YOU to “step onto NEW ground” - at YOUR own pace, so you start to change YOUR perception & perspective of “self”, & the surrounding world YOU live in. With her knowledge (trauma-informed) & guidance, I am finding and revealing, the REAL me, that has been hidden away for so very long!! With Tracey’s guidance I KNOW I will find my stable footing. I KNOW I can now live MY life - as it should be - MINE!! I could not have achieved my “coming back to my true self” expedition, if Tracey & her methods had not been with me during this process. She has my respect & gratitude in enormous quantities - Thank you Tracey.💖🙏
Robert Jaensch I have been working with Tracey for quite a few months now. I am 62 years old. I have a number of serious mental health diagnosis including some very late. Each week is focused on the preceding week and the now. My input into my art therapy is expertly put together by Tracey. I always have a range of choices. I have tried regular mindfulness and it does not work for me. Art therapy takes me away from my body, and into a creative world I am and discovering with Tracey’s guidance and leadership.
Pip I worked in Tracey's studio for six months after going to an initial 'Making Journal' workshop. As a practicing artist I learnt some new approaches to creative work. I received encouragement and was stimulated by the company of others interested in following their own path of creative work. The studio provided a place to be and to heal.
Patricia Tracey ran a workshop at the Ikebana International monthly meeting using raffia. We wove the raffia into small baskets with her caring & patient guidance. I found the workshop a very relaxing experience, & everyone helped each other, & we had lots of laughs. It drew us together.
Mary Creative Arts Groups for Wellness really attract me, are " my cup of tea"! Tracey provides a safe, welcoming place to engage creatively, allowing ones own unique artistic nature to find expression in a relaxed way. New skills and materials are offered however the emphasis on following ones own way is encouraged. There's a sense of fun, relaxation and companionship in a sometimes quiet, sometimes chatty place. I always come away feeling good. I'm delighted Tracey is running such a group and will go whenever I'm free.
